Hockey is a team sport across men's and women's competitions. The sport is played on outdoor synthetic turf and will feature matches of 2 x 25 minute halves. Registration requires a minimum squad size of 14 and a maximum of 18. There must be a minimum of 7 players on the field to avoid incurring a forfeit. Each team may cross accredit a maximum of 3 players.
Hockey is a qualification sport in the women's competition and requires teams to qualify via their regional university games event.

Travel Information
Located in a southern suburb of Bunbury, Bunbury Hockey Stadium is accessible from Parade Road, which runs along the west of Hay Park.
Parking is available at the stadium. All parking is free around the venue.
Transport information
Transbunbury buses run in the area from the CBD, with service routes stopping on the west side of the fields. It is recommended to use the Transperth mobile app to determine the best bus times (stop ID 71756).

The South West Sports Centre is located east of the stadium. There is a shopping complex (Parks Centre) to the north east of Hay Park, on the opposite side of Bussell Highway.

Depending upon demand, catering may be available at the Stadium. Alternative options are the South West Sports Centre, the Parks Centre or Bunbury CBD.

Sports Medicine Australia will be available on-site.
Bunbury Regional Hospital is a 5 minute drive from the venue on Robertson Drive.

Australian University Sport (AUS) conducts its competitions under the official playing rules and regulations implemented by the national sporting organisation for that sport. However, AUS events are unique and hence there are often variations that are implemented.
