Indoor Beach Volleyball is team sport across men's pairs, women's pairs and mixed fours competitions. The sport is played on indoor courts and matches will consist of the best of 3 sets, the first 2 sets to 21 points and the third set to 15 points. Men's and women's pairs may cross accredit 1 reserve player to be used in case of injury. Registration for mixed fours requires a minimum squad of 4 players and a maximum of 6 players. Each mixed fours team may cross accredit a maximum of 3 players. Players registering for indoor beach volleyball may not cross accredit within the sport.

Duties & Uniform
Australian University Sport (AUS) conducts its competitions under the official playing rules and regulations implemented by the national sporting organisation for that sport. However, AUS events are unique and hence there are often variations that are implemented.
